shorten throw on standard 4 speed

Default shorten throw on standard 4 speed
This is my first time on here . I have a 71 coupe w/ 350-270 4 speed
Is there a way to shorten throws on m-20 4 speed ? Awesome website!

some years have an extra set of holes for the shift rods. You can drop the rods down to the lower hole and shorten the throw..

You have to move the shift levers to the hole closest to the bolt on the shift arm.

I agree, I have the same engine/trans as you and it has a second set of holes. My 78' had only one set and it had a LONG throw. Went to a Hurst now a TKO-600 5 speed.
