Converting Straps to Caps
In Converting my pinion yoke straps to billet caps I found a slight problem...
The 1330 caps and straps are not the same dimension...

Solution.... Mill off 0.125 from the face and polish.

Thinking about it the strap style yoke could not be machined to a split as the bend radius in the strap needs to be allowed for.
P.S. I did seat the spider in the yoke before taking measurements.
