I'm considering these, mainly because the price is reasonable and I've had good luck with this brand in the past. Anyone running these that could comment on fit and finish? I'd really like a set of Stahl full length sidepipe headers, but the price (1K) leaves them out of reach for now.
I have to run some sort of improved exhaust to allow me to install the L-88 cam and a set of LS-7 heads I have ready. The goal is really stupid horsepower...
I have a set in the shed I'll sell you for $50 + shipping if you want. on the other hand the primares on these are kind of small for a "stupid " HP engine IMHO

Deal! Send me your address to: hcabplanalp@ucdavis.edu, and figure out what you need for shipping. I'll pay with a postal money order.
Just so we're clear, they'll fit a '69 BB, and are in decent shape, right? I relize the primary tubes are a bit small, but that cam isn't ideal either for real HP. Should be an improvement over the oval port heads and iron manifolds anyway.
They are a little dirty from sitting in the shed but are fine otherwise. PM me your address and I'll get them shipped. Once they go out I'll send you the total and you can mail me a check.

If you have aluminum heads, they won't work. At least that's the small print on their site and an email I got from them a while back. Something about them not matching up to the exhaust ports exactly.
The Alloy heads have "D" port exhaust ports, but LS-7 GM castings are still square, if I have it right. Never used the aluminum BB heads, but may in the future to save weight, but for now, these will work fine.

Got the headers (thanks Greg!) and your right,I will need to run a header plate because the pipes are a bit small for the LS-7 heads, although they would probably work with a good gasket. When I pull this engine and put a proper bottom end in it, then I'll buy the STAHL pipes I lust after: http://www.stahlheaders.com/Frame%20New%20RR.htm
