New guy onboard
This is my 68, 427/390, slightly over 54,000 miles on it, purchased in 1975. Please excuse the photo, it was taken in 1977, just prior to being put into long term storage (marriage, career, kids, you know) where it still sits today. Now divorced, one left on child support, so I am starting to plan it's return to the road!
(now for the test, can I get the picture to appear?) :seeya

Welcome to the forum. One word of advice, never be afraid to ask questions. Over the last year this forum has answered every question I have had about my 69 'vette and saved me a great deal of time and money.
No matter what you want to do with your Corvette from factory restoration to out right hot rodding, the people here will be able to and be willing to help you.
I think you would be able to answer a lot of the question someone would have on the 68' corvette! since it only has 54K miles on it. Enjoy the forum.

Still have BB envy!

1 post and you put your car in the sig
Good luck with the car and you will get tons of great advice here. :seeya
Now lets get to the good stuff
Go ahead and set aside the money/time for a 454 in all aluminum with a tko 5 speed/richmond 5 speed and 3.73 racing gears and hooker side pipes. Not to forget the torque thrust 2's and a red/black paint job :yesnod:
now we have to persuade you into these :D
ZD
Is it still mostly original? If so, before you do most anything (other than cleaning it) you should consider getting the car NCRS bowtie judged! Wow, in long term storage... that sounds like one of those stories you only ever hear about, except that it's been yours all along. http://www.ncrs.org for more NCRS details.
