GM Crate Engines
I've been looking at many different GM crate engines, but all appear on US based web-sites. I've done several searches on Canadian sites but never found anything. The US pricing and warranties seem very interesting but can anything similar be purchased in Canada. A previous posting on here took me to http://www.paceparts.com and http://www.sallee-chevrolet.com which had everything a 'Vetter would ever want. If anyone has a Canadian site where I can find these GM crate engines could you be so kind as to share it with us all!

If you phone your local Chevy dealer with the part numbers from the U.S. site, they should be quite willing to provide Canadian prices.

Canadian Chevy dealers will probably take you to the cleaners, but get their prices just to satisfy yourself. You'll be best off buying from Jim Pace or Scoggin-Dickey-remember that the engines are duty free but you'll have to pay GST & possibly PST if customs has a deal with the provincial gov't.
