After reassembleing my rear end. Once I got to the point of bleeding the brakes the inside bleeder plug on the LR caliper broke off. My question is should I drill it out and if so will there be a replacement plug to fit the hole? Or is there another way of getting the plug out?
I thought of the heat, but it snapped off flush with the caliper. I see nothing to grab hold of to turn it out.
Check at a local hardware store for an eazy-out...it's like a drill bit with reverse threads that should be able to grab onto the bleeder and back it out. An alternative would be to turn the rear caliper upside down and use the bleeder threads on the bottom of the calipers...OK it's more like an alternate reality. Try the easy-outs. There are 5/16" bleeders available, but if it comes to that you might as well get a rebuilt caliper.
