Hood hinge 76 L-82 HELP

Hood hinge 76 L-82 HELP
On the hood where the hinge is bolted to the front of the hood, the threaded insert fell into the channal that runs along the outer edge of the hood.
Does any one know how to retrieve this piece and how can I fix it?

We don't know how this happened - my son was able to do exactly what you said - now we need to figure how to reattached - The hood has been off for the winter while we were rebuilding the front end -don't know why it has come off - Thanks again
