For no reason at all my clock in the car has decided to start working. At first I thought it would be just temporary and would quit so I didn't worry about setting it. But it's been going steady for a couple days now. So now that I want to set it, I cant figure out how? The best I can figure is there's supposed to be an adjustment **** to the lower right of the clock that must be missing because there's a small pinhole there. Am I right? Or is this supposed to be set another way?
You are exactly right about the adjustment ****. It should be a chrome **** mounted to the shaft by a VERY small chrome screw. The **** is mounted to a shaft that connects through the center cluster to the clock. It is possible that the shaft broke off but that would be odd. I have seen a number of cars where the chrome **** is missing, but not the shaft. Congratulations on the clock fix. ;) I wish mine would work but there isn't any way I am taking that cluster apart so that I can get the clock out to work on it. What a PITA.

Looks like the adjustment **** and shaft are missing then. :( Disconnecting the battery is something that completly eluded me. It is only an hour and 45 min off. If it doesn't start back up, no harm no foul.
