Default Grounding

does anybody know about the ground wire on left side front attached to radiator core holder. also i was told there is supposed to be a ground wires hooked up to the bellhousing i don't even have wires in any of these areas by the way it's a 1977 vette.

on my 74, that wire appears to be the ground for the headlights and all of the lights and switches up front, also probably is ground for alternator housing. There is a separate wire with a ring terminal to the horn ground side which is also connected to the radiator support ground. my 74 has a ground wire with a ring terminal on the passenger side bellhousing bolt where the bat wire standoff is located. this probably grounds heater motor, wiper motor, maybe other optional accessories, etc., not traced all this section down yet.
