4 speed auto in a C3
Can anyone point me towards a kit/web site to put the 700R4 in an 81 or earlier C3.
Anyone done it ?? Cost and problems..
Was it worthwhile (Im looking for around 2000RPM at 65 MPH)

OD trans install I used a 200-4R but it is similar to the 700. Things you will need:
1. new detent for the shifter
2. new cross member
3. shorten drive shaft
4. some method to attach TV cable to carb
5 lots of patients setting up the TV cable

Best mod to my car ever! Not only do you get an OD gear, but the torque converter locks up. Run low 3.55 or 3.7 gears with a high stall like a drag car, but OD with lockup like a autobahn cruiser.
Has anyone installed paddle shifters like the new C6 autos. I'd like something like that.
