Clutch Fork Ball Stud Length
My 1971 SB clutch fork ball stud is damaged and needs to be replaced. GM shows two lengths are used; 1 3/8" on 66-75 and 1 1/2" on 76-81. These are not available thru GM. Zip, Paragon, etc. only show one application and it's 1 1/2". Mine is out and it measures 1 3/8". Anyone else ran into this? Can I use the 1 1/2" stud?

The longer one should be fine. Usually after the flywheel is cut a few times, you would need the longer one anyways. If you want the shorter one, adjustable length one's are available thru Summit and Jegs.
