Brake booster pushrod questions??
Got my new (to me) booster today and it was missing the rod between the booster and master cylinder. Are these available? How do they attach to the booster? Could I just use threaded rod?

Yes, you could, but you should be able to pick one up for practically nothing. Doesn't have to be a threaded rod. That is just for the length adjustment.

The C5 master cylinder has a shallow hole in it for the pushrod same as the later C3's. So Yes I have a 1970 and Yes I need a pushrod for a later C3.

Wasn't very smart of me to think that you might just be swapping out a bad power booster for a good one therefore you would have the old pushrod still handy. Guess my ESP is on the fritz again.

Help No Booster/Master Cylinder rod only a black cylinder
I have been having issues with my 1975 Vette brakes for awhile now. It stops but never locks up. I replaced the master cylinder and still soft. I read the Booster Rod may need adjustment but when I took the Master Cylinder off again, there is no booster rod. It looks like a cylinder come out of the booster and engages the master cylinder. There is a hole in the cylinder where it looks like a booster rods should go. Any thought as to if there was a time where a rod was not used. I pilled it out a little and attached a photo of what it looks like.
The cylinder in the middle is what come out when i push on the brake pedal. there is no Booster Rod

I believe it should have an extension rod that looks something like this:
