I see some pipes in there that kit will work, but you'll have a lot left over and you might not be able to utilize the slip fit ends. It's really designed for conventional muscle cars. The trickiest piece to fab with the home method is the shape behind the crossmember, from there to the rear axle can be straight pipe. I've used the individual mandrel bend pieces with straight pipe that Jeg's sells with very good results on 1 Vette and 2 F bodies. Price it with the individual pieces and see if it's cheaper. I always make my own header to front exhaust pipe sections this way. Grind down the welds, paint it and it looks like a 1 piece pipe. I find it's a fun project.
I did wonder if it would be cheaper buying the bends seperately. Here in the UK, straight pipe is relatively cheap but mandrel bends can be quite expensive. Also, the UK suppliers I have spoken to only do the 90 deg mandrel bends.
ahoover, do you happen to have a list of what pipe/bend combination you used or any pictures?
Mid America has a SS kit as well as an aluminized steel kit that you might consider as well. The MA kit looks like its has less parts and designed for corvettes.

Thanks for the link, but if Im going to go to the trouble to change out the system, then I want to go with mandrel bends for optimum flow.
