My driver side window crank started feeling like it was slipping--I looked for the "easy fix" --a new window crank thinking the spines were worn --WRONG--I ordered the window regulator rebuild kit from ZIP--any tips from anybody that has done it already? Thanks

I have a 1970 vette, and I have been having problems with the window cranks, the door locks, sometimes the doors will not even open from the outside. I have been fighting this problem for a couple of years. I finally purchased all the insides to both doors, new locks, new window cranks and even new door panels. I purchased all this through Mid-America and I still have all these parts sitting in my den! There are websites that you can get on to get instructions on how to repair and take care of things on your vette. There are also restoration books you can purchase from book stores that give you detailed instructions on how to do things to your vette. I am in 3 corvette clubs here in my town and thank goodness I have help to get mine installed! If I can find that website where you can actually get instructions on these how to projects I will e-mail it to you, Cheers, Sherry
