I was cruising E-bay and found this hood for a c3 Corvette. I thought some of you might like to take a look at it. It is pricey at 1,000 dollars but it looks nice. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...916934&r=0&t=0
A guy in my vette club has something very close to that along with etchings of cemetery scene gravestones and all on his side windows on his wild black 383 stroked '79.
Not my cup of tea but nice to look at.
He gets 1st place alot at the "people's choice" shows.
"to each his own"
airbrushing is realativly easy if you know basic art skills(how to shade, where to shade, how much to shade). You hold the brush almost like a pensil, only a little ferther from the surface, and go to town on it. Im no paccaso, but I can airbrush pretty good on some lexan R/C car bodies...Clean up and prep is a real PITA(you think masking a real car is time consuming, try masking something 1/10th that size from the INSIDE). I've never tried a mural, just basic things...
