ok, I realize this isn't rocket science; however, how are you SUPPOSE to store the T-tops in the back? The Vette has two black bags in the rear glove box with snaps on 'em, but are too small to enclose a single T panel. I use a blanket to seperate them, when storing. Is there a better way to be doing this?
Got my T-Top Bags from Mid-America (1-800-500-8388) or http://www.madirect.com. Sorry, dont have an up to date catalog or I could help you more
My tops do fit in the T-top bags, but I don't use them for the fear of the snaps scratching the tops, I like you use towels, one between the tops and one on top of the upper top to keep the hold down straps from scratching it. There are aftermarket T-top bags with velcro and softer liners available, if you think the towels look a little bubba.
My son got me some t-top covers for Christmas from Midamerica and they have velcro closures on them. It is a tight fit, but you learn to put the rounded side of the t-top in first. So far they have worked great, as my tops stay in the back as much as possible (70% of the time). Hershey
Go to a local salvage yard, find a 82-92 Camaro/Firebird with the T- tops. The bags are usually just thrown in the rear, you can pick up the bags for $20-$30 dollars. They work very well with the Corvette tops.
Once you get them in the back towel wrapped or (like I've done in the past) in some velcro closure bags - strapping them down with the three point strap (did you get the strap?) will keep them from moving around somewhat.
I remove and replace my luggage rack and either mount the tops there (with a factory bracket set) or have a set of rain coat vinyl t-tops that I can fold and put in the back.
I think this is one of the biggest questions a C3 owner faces - right up there with should I drop in a big block :D
