Default Patriot side pipe pics (update pics)

Ok so i still have yet to put my pipes on. I finally got around to trying to get them where i think they look good but got some questions. I would like to know how far out everyone's pipes stick out from the door sill. It doesn't looks as bad as i thought it did at first once i got something to hold it there and was able to step away. Anyone with the same pipes i would appreciate any advice.

The above pics i think look pretty good but thi sis the gap i am talking about. Is this about right?

If i try and tuck those brackets underneath the sill the pipe becomes crooked as the front won't tuck under as far as the back

That's how tight i would like to get them in there. looks like you started yours a little farther back from the front then where i have mine placed as well. How hard was it to trim the sill? Looks good thanks for the pics

I placed them so the exhaust should be just before the back wheel opening, looks good and you dont see the pipes ending in the front wheel opening also..
the sill is very easy to cut its only aluminium
only a bit hard to measure correctly..

My bro has the Patriots on his Van, Becareful they rust out very easyly suposedly. My bro talked to a guy who arready went though 3PAIRS ON HIS VAN because of how bad they rust out.

My bro welded his up on his van, to how he wanted them on his van, and drilled holes in the frame to hold it.

Only pic i have on photobucket, but i took alot on my cam i have to upload them. But hes going to hook them up from the back of the pipe so they dont rust out and so its legal, for emmissions.
His are right up onto his van, but i dont know how the helps on you a vette

well finally got them on....at least bolted to the car lol. Going to call the muffler shop tomorrow and see if they can weld up a pipe to the connector and get the old exhaust system out of there. Got the passenger side done first and thought it came out pretty good. Driver side went easier and actually is a little tighter to the rocker panel like i wanted but i have no idea how or why The only thing was the driver rocker panel didn't come out as clean as the passenger side where i had to cut it. The pics here it looks worse then it is though as the dirvers fake header part droops whe your not holding it. hopefully i will be ablt to sneak into the shop tomorrow and get this finished up

lol Everyone loves the Buick....It is an 87 WE4 optioned Turbo T lighter, rarer version of the Grand National but not as rare as the GNX.

Well i got them hokoed up yesterday Have a nice sound to them but not exactly what i expected. Still very happy with them overall. Does seem like i lost some bottom end but i probably need some carb tuning. I'll see if i can get some sound clips and maybe a video up later.
