Default Looking for help changing out window switch

I have a 1980 Black/Oyster Vette with a sick window switch. Having never
changed one out...I am looking for a walk thru of the process..I am not sure
what i have to remove in order to get at it.

Thanks in advance

If your talking about the switch on the parking brake console, there's not that much to it.
I'm not sure if your '80 is same as my '69 but I just removed the screws holding the console (don't forget about the bolt in the center of the back of the console, you'll have to remove the inner compartment of the storage behind the seats to get to it.) I don't remeber exactly how the switch itself is attached but it was'nt hard to remove. The new switch should come with a pig tail connection that just plugs in where the old switch was. I don't think you have to remove the parking brake console complety but it may help.
