Default Primer question

I'm still scraping the red paint off my car The razor blade method works fine but it takes longer than I thought.... well, I started two other projects at the same time...

Anyways..... I can get a good deal on DuPont paint - what primer should I order ? I can't find anything on their website, they only list primers for 'metal' and 'plastic' exteriors in their automitive section....

TIA

I searched the archives and it appears that PPG DPLF epoxy primer is what most members recommend. Does anybody know the DuPont equivalent ???

Sand the body and do all of the body work. You will want to use a urethane fill primer. Dupont has uro and ppg has k36. Both work very nice. Using epoxy first is crap. It is a waste of money and it's not meant to be sanded. Epoxy is generally used as a sealer.

I used the K38 high build, block sanded and a light coat of white DPLF primer/sealer before the base color went on.
