68 Turn Signal Switch
I got one of these new reproduction switches from Corvette America for a 68 at work. The new switch was bad. They are sending me another one I hope it is better.
Sitting on my workbench is a new repo 68 signal switch, a replacement for the first one I bought from a local Vette place. I haven't had a chance to put it in yet due to other issues(car, house), hopefully this weekend I'll get around to installing it. I'll post when I find out. I'm curious to find out how yours works out, wondering if we ran into a bad batch of switches or what
You might try connecting the new switch to your vehicle wiring harness BEFORE installing the switch into your column. If the switch is bad, you might save yourself some time by not going through the effort of installing it into the column.

or just get a multimeter and check it out on the shelf before you even go out to the car
In my case, the wiring was fine, but the lever would not return to center, as if the switch was assembled too tightly. When the lever is not centered, the brake lights on one side or the other will not work.
Thanks for that reply. I have two new repro $75.00 1967-68 switches in reserve for future shortages. They are BPM/Boyne and may be defective but I do not know at this point.
