I was wanting to know if a Holley ProJection 670cfm system will work ok on a sbc 350/350 hp to about 5500 rpm. If not, can the fuel injectors be modified or increase the fuel pressure. In one place I find Holley saying that it is good for up to 275 hp and another place that it is good to 325 hp. I would like some feedback from some member that have had experience with this system.
Yes, you need to look at your volumetric efficiency number. The only way you are going to achieve 100% is with a turbo or blower (perhaps more than 100% too). Seems like with stock heads and manifolds you may be looking at from 70% ~ 80% at best, which really lowers your CFM requirements. So theoretically the ProJection will be fine for a stock 350, but they only recommend it for engines under 275 hp, But that's mostly because of the fuel injectors themselves aren't rated for that kind of flow.
My buddy and I were looking into one of these setups for his '81, it seemed like a decent way to increase efficiency and a little bit better response. Seems like the newer digital kits are better than the old analog ones.

I didn't see a problem with the cfm ratings on the Holley system. I wanted to know if there was a way to increase the fuel pressure or increase the fuel injector size or output. A lot of people think that bIGGER is better when it comes to fuel systems. Too much is as bad as too little.
