Default Doors delaminating?

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and could use some advice. About 6 weeks ago I bought my first Corvette, It is a 1974 T-top model, I bought the car not running so I knew I was in for a little work. The car is now running pretty good and yesterday I was waxing the car and noticed while cleaning around the door latch area that there is a thin crack running under the top part of the door skin the gap is probably less than a sixteenth of an inch so it is not easily noticable unless you have the door open. I am afraid the door skin is trying to delaminate. I would like to know if there is a acceptable way to fill this gap to prevent it from delaminating any further. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks: RobertJ

Are you sure the skin is coming loose? sometimes there is a gap on the outside that looks like it may be coming loose yet it is still bonded tightly. If the skin is coming loose from the door shell you can rebond it with epoxy. You will first have to clean and abrade both surfaces. This will be the hard part. You can use a hacksaw blade and scratch the surfaces. Then blow out the crack with compressed air and press in some epoxy with a putty knife.
