Relay mounted on passenger side firewall

I am trying to find out what the relay is for that is mounted under the hood on the firewall right above the heater core and blower motor box, passenger side- can see it plain as day what you open the hood on my '76. Looks like it is definately original but can't seem to locate it on the wiring diagram. The connector is cracked and shattered and am going to replace but want to know what I am dealing with first. It is right above where a harness plugs into a connector. Thanks in advance.

That would be your heater fan high sppe relay. :cheers:

Could be the theft alarm reset. It was in that area on my '74 coupe. If memory serves, it was orange.

Uh oh! now I've got 2 very different answers. It is wired directly into the adjoining harness if that is any help.
