Need Some Advice For Restoring
ok we are in process of restoring... its a red 72 with red interior... well we have ahd soem leaks with the rain and all... and noticed the red was getting really dirty and moldy so we thought if we were gonn aget new carpet and dash's ect. that we should just get a diff color so we like...and since it was leaking to go ahead and get a new top so we ordered a new TAN convertible top with new seals and weather stripping...and get black dash ect. tan seats, tan carpet and black door panels... i have heard that the interior carpet work, convertible top, and dash work is the hardest thing of restoring... and you have to do it JUST right... are there any techniques or any knowledge i should have befor doing this??
