Crazy idea
Here is a crazy idea. I am building a turbo motor, and people keep telling me that longer rods = more power + less detonation. So here is my thought process.
3.48/2 = 1.74
1.74+6.125=7.865
9-7.865 = 1.135
Why is this relevant well....
3.75/2 = 1.875
1.875+6= 7.875
9-7.875=1.125
JE makes a dished piston, with a compression height of 1.125. By running a thinner head gasket I can make up that quench.... Maybe running a shallower dish I could stay with the .048 quench instead of the .037 quench that I could get from a thinner head gasket.
