Default Club '76 C3 - moderators please move (wrong section)

How many other guys/girls and other, are driving '76 Coupes? Seems like a lot more these days. When I bought mine several years ago, it seemed like this forum was mainly chrome bumbers and fastback years like the '79 - but there were very FEW mid-seventies cars.

Now I see a lot of mid-seventies questions, and a bunch of them are coming from fellow '76 owners. COOL!

So OK guys, girls and others, chime in: How many Club '76ers out there?

--Count me in for one --

EDIT: Crap this needs to be moved to C3 GEneral

I'm in. My first Corvette, (back in 1980), was a 76. Since then I have had several Corvettes, including a 1968 Convertible, 1971 T-Top, 1972 Convertible, 2 1977's, 1978, 1980, 1982, 1984 C4, and another 1976.

However, today, I have gone back to a 1976, which I still have now and plan on keeping. Why?? Because it is relatively cheap, easy to drive, and still gives you the true C3 Vette flavor. While it's not a speed demon, it does everything that I "need" it to do.

1976!!!!!

76 here as well. Modified with twin-turbo hood and 68 doors and 68 seats and momo wheel, but still a 76 at heart. And I just ordered Patriot sidepipes yesterday so they will be getting installed real soon.

I too have a 76. It is an L-48 automatic, but not for much longer.

That's what mine was when I got it. Not for long though!
