Well the saga continues.....adjuster looked at vette this afternoon 330-4 pm and I got it all apart now, about 3 hrs or so....bumper is of course toast, but I think I can save the headlight bucket (ecklers) and the body mods to the headlights to allow for late Camaro bulbs...
so far, it's ok, I think, except that custom aluminum grill, it's pretty well toast...THAT took hours and hours and many trips over there to get fabbed up....dunno about the repairs though....probably as much...hard to say....
hate pickups, especially with camper tops/work tops on them...cant see for crap out the back.....and people refuse to use driver's mirrors...
for sure the adjuster said 'it's an old car with 130k on it, and they won't pay to fix it.....he said vette or not, i'ts their attitude....I said I would sue....
so he photo's the estimates, and car all over up close,....but I just bet the offer is 500 bux or less, and sue if you want to....
We recently repaired a '74 that this guy's girlfriend backed into, the insurance coughed up about 9 large to repair it. Get documentation on 'Vettes similar to yours, (C.P.I., Kelly Blue Book, etc.) to "load your guns".
