Default Time for Rotors

I have an 82. The brake rotors have heat spots and the rear rotors have some ridges that you can barely catch your thumb nail in. There are a ton of aftermarket manufacturers out there. I want a quality rotor not something made in China or some third world country. I would like to get a set of the fancy smancy drilled and slotted rotors just because they look good. What do you guys recomend? or should I just go with the stock AC Delco? What is a reasonable price? Brake pad sugestions would be nice too!

Thanks

I just did mine... bought a pair from Autozone for $80.. yea they're made in China or something, but they quality seems pretty good so far. Brakes feel awesome.

Hit the VBP link & check out their line. They told me the ones I bought (slotted w/ thermal cycling) were made by Bendix here in America and modified by VBP. This was without knowing that my local Vette brake & suspension guru will only buy Bendix rotors because they're so well made. Nice pieces & we get a forum discount.

Look for Rotor pros on Ebay or the web, myself anf Gordonm have the drilled and slotted rotors. They have good quality, coating looks great, and the price was hard to beat...
