Which Flowmasters do you have. the 40s are quite loud. I have the Delta Flow 50s and find them quite mild sounding.

Go to the FLOWMASTER website and you can hear different mufflers on different applications. The delta flow system was created for just what your asking.

I have the Flowmaster 40 (P/N: 942541). Any idea as to how the Borlas compare to the Flowmaster Deltaflow 50's?

Me too, though they resonate at 1500RPM without a H-Pipe (406/700R4/3.08, so 1500RPM is a cruising RPM for me etc)...

i love my hooker header sidepipes. ive got drilled out spiral baffles and its LOUD. but with the windows up and the ac cranking you can still have a normal conversation . i can tell you one thing for sure. the less restriction of exhaust systems, the happier a small block is.

Just back from the shop. They couldn't get the Flowmaster 50's in. Said it was too big. Tried the Magnaflows but no difference. They said that I had too many 'horses' to do anything about it.
So seems like I have to put up with disturbing the neighbourhood everytime I got the Vet out!!

I have 50s on mine and they fit fine. Yes they take a little more work and it is tight but they will fit. Mine were even in with the spare tire carrier. They just did not want to spend the time. Here is my "rear" with the 50s

Dynomax Super turbos will fit as will the Dynomax Ultra-Flos. I have Ultra-Flos with an X-pipe and it tames the big block
