Wiper Door
I'm having an intermittent problem with my wiper door. The door and wiper operate fine, but when I turn the wipers off 9 out of 10 times the door closes on the blades, before they drop down. It will eventually close correctly, but not without several attempts. I've seen many great post on the wiper door, so I'm sure someone out there knows what's going on.

69 and later shoulkd have a vacuum switch mounted down by the passenger side wiper arm that will not let the door close until the wiper arm pushes the button on the vacuum switch. If it closes early I would guess the vacuum switch needs adjusting or has been disabled. 68's (mine anyways) don't use this switch, so I am not sure how it is adjusted. Good luck
