Low speed wobble

Low speed wobble

Have an 81 that has a low speed "wobble" for lack of a better word. The whole car seems to wobble or rock at low speeds. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Belts in the radial tires shifted.

I had a 79 Z-28 that did that when the steel belts started to get funky inside my Goodyear Eagle ST tires. At low speed it felt like you were in a boat on a lake.

Crash you got it right on the money - feels like I'm on a rough lake in a small boat.

Thanks all, for your thoughts on that, I have been all over this car and couldn't figure it, never gave a thought to the tires.

I am having them relpaced, will let you know the results.

The tires were the problem, right on the money. Had 'em replaced today and running smooth again. Thank you all for your input.

Glad to hear it. I remember when mine went weird, I was shocked that the tires could cause that symptom. That incident turned me off of Goodyears for a while.
