Re: I have been thinking about buying another C3 (Larry82)
I want another car for a driver too. I sold my boat and I'm getting bored with the SUV I use a driver and ex-tow vehicle. I seriously thought about another C3 but without overdrive and utterly dependable technology I thought it might not meet my needs.
Enter the C5. My ex is in a Z06 and it's a darn good car but a tad too harsh for the roads around here. So now I'm looking for a '99-'00 FRC with the right options. Chevy has come a long way in making these cars suitable as drivers plus I need the security of a hardtop to keep retards out of the car in the city...plus I love the look of the FRCs.
Re: I have been thinking about buying another C3 (Larry82)
What's wrong with the '82 as a daily driver?
If I were going to buy another C3, I'd try for a '74. They're still reasonably priced and they have NO catalytic converter. I hate having a CC and being legally required to run a 2-1-2 exhaust :cuss
I would think that your '82 would be the most comfortable stock C3, but I would have aftermarket seats in my '74 anyway :D
I don't think I really answered anything, but I'm not really sure what you're looking for.

I LOVE stick...I drive my friends cars as much as I can. though I have the fastest car of all my friends, I haev the only Auto. I don't see the point of owning an old Vette and not having a stick..and then getting an L-48. the person who option for my car really had no..well you get the idea
