Default Next mods???

I need a little help. I have already started doing quite a bit to my ride and want to know what you guys would recomend next. I want more power but am on a tight budget. I know that I need new heads because mine are still the 76 ones but can't afford the onse I want right now. Any other suggestions? Here is a basic list of what I have so far:

Holley High Rise Aluminum intake
Holley Street avenger carb
Accel Billit distibutor
Accel High output coil
8.8 mm Accel Wires
MSD 6a Ignition
True Dual 2 1/2 exhaust with the glass pack tips
B&M shift kit in the tranny
Hurst Line Lock
Deleted heat and A/C for weight reduction. (Bubba hacked it up so I finished what he started)

Thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated.

Glen.....

Forgot to mention, it is a 76 L48.

L48 needs Compression Ratio increase (heads/pistons) and more cam. But if you install a cam now ... it can either work well with the CR you have now ... or ... work well with future CR increase ... but it cannot do both. Looks like you may need wait & save up $.

Thanks. I just want to increase the power so I can enjoy it for a little longer before I have to leave it parked for a while. A cam would probably help. I know that I need new heads but here in about a month and a half, the car will be sitting for a year while I save up for a crate engine. Just wanted to play with the L48 while I still had time. Thanks guys...

6 weeks from now it's parked for a year? If it were me, I'd leave it as is and spend the cam money on a loved one ... mom, dad, gf, wife, child. Your time & $ ... do what makes you happiest.

Unless you are going to reuse the cam and lifters in
the crate motor to come, the expense of changing cams for 6
weeks of use not worth it.

It is when you don't know if you will ever see it again. Get my drift?

Even more reason to spend your time & $ on loved ones ... now I include some faith-based devotional too.

*edit* from experience ... those men who do cry out when facing death or ruin (most do) ... they cry out for mamma, daddy or God ... I've never heard a sigh of vette or harley. I wish you well.
