Default Hot Rod Air Temp Sensor?

Guys,
Installing Hot Rod Airs kit in my 71. There is a 'thermostat' wire coming off the temp selector, it comes coils up when shipped. Does this thing need to get inserted into the evaporator, routed somewhere, or just left curled up?

Default It goes into the top of the unit...

Just about centered between the air outlets you'll find a little-bitty hole and you insert it there.

So far so good. The parts are very high quality, the fit is 9 out of 10 (much better than expected). The instruction manual is a joke, but the way things are packaged and laid out you will only have to pull something back off and flip it around a few times...
In one day, myself and a helper managed to install the condensor, drier, lines, compressor w brackets, replacement pulleys (ordered seperately), heater hoses, temp control adaptor, the air box itself, etc. By the time it got dark, we had tested the blower motor. Still need to plumb the ducts, charge the system, and put the car back together. Could be finished today!

Default That's pretty quick...

it took me months....of course, while I was at it, I went ahead and cleaned, painted, and insulated the area.
I also had to fabricate the ducting behind the center vent bezel. The one they sent me just would not fit.
