What modifications will be needed to fit the 63-82 headers to an LS1 power plant in a '76? The headers are already installed on the factory L82, looking at stabbing in an LS1.
Thanks.

Like blair winch said you use ls1 flanges from the chevy dealer,i can give you part numbers for them, you cut off the hooker flanges and 2 pipes on each side will almost line up just alittle tweak but the 2 others will have to be cut and moved to line up.Its not really that bad to do,i did my hooker sidepipes which took alittle longer and more cutting because how they exit on drivers side, the under frame part has to be lengthened also, but regular headers should be fine.I got apicture to show how far off they are let me look. 12480130 gm part number for flanges http://www.superchevyperformance.com...t/12480130.asp
Got a few of them, you can see how far the one center tubes is off

Thanks for the great info. I don't think I'll be able to do it with the stainless set up due to the welding.
Thanks for the links and info.
