Default Dash lights, what part number ?

My dash lights are out, my speedo and tach and now all the instruments. Before I go and tear everything apart are these lights readily available at the parts store or are they special GM/Corvette bulbs ?

Anyone know the part numbers ?

I'm gonna put in the new WhiteGauges faces for the speedo and tach while I'm at it, I will post pics when I'm done and if they don't look like crap

There is one oddball - the bulb at the very top of the center instrument cluster. It has a lens molded in to cast light on the HVAC controls. The parts vendors have them, and I've heard they can be obtained through NAPA.

All my lights dash and center cluster lights are out, except for the idiot lights between the speedo and tach ( brake warning etc. ) I can't believe you have to drop the steering column to get at them, any other way ?

i've had the speedo and tach cluster out several times without dropping the column. take it all loose and just worm it out..

it does seem a little different that they are ALL out at once though...

as far as i know all 78-82s require dropping the steering column
or you run the risk of damaging the cluster itself.
i have done the whole job of removing the cluster in about
15 minutes as its not really that hard.

bulbs are 168 and 194s and make sure you put them in their
proper sockets.

FWIW: Dashes were installed on the assembly line before the steering column was bolted into its final position. Makes it a little easier to understand why you have to drop the column on some chores, and don't have to on others.
