Why Just ONE?!?!?
I have a 76' vette and was wondering why I have one exterior mirror on the drivers side? Most I see have 2 and have the sport mirrors, I just hvae the plain chrome one on the drivers side, anybody know? :eek:

The best I can tell (info from Corvette Black Book), the optional sport mirrors (RPO# D35) were available from '77 till '79. Then they were standard in '80 and later. My first Vette was a '79 and it came from the factory with only one driver's side metal mirror. I added the sport mirrors myself.
What a lot of folks do with the '76 and earlier Vettes is to add a passenger side metal mirror. If you wanted to, you could probably add the sport mirrors to any early Corvette. Just depends on how original you want to keep your Vette.
