Hey starting to consider a tire change. What are you running and how do they handle. 69 4spd.
I have been "considering" the same for 2 years now! The problem is that there are VERY limited choices for our stock rim size these days. Most people choose 245 or 255/60R15. Many go with the BFG's that you have now (VERY nice lake, by the way) with Goodyear Wide Ovals and Firestone Firehawk's following up. Some have tried and liked Yokohama AVID S/T - even though it is listed as a "truck" tire. Tire Rack is a good online place to see what's available.
Firestone fixed the car tire problem after the 500 recall in the mid-70s. The truck tires...well...that's a different story.
Yeah I was kidding. I loved the tread design on your tires. Very all-weather for sure, and from the look, high shoulders, you will likely have a minimum of road noise once you get the suspension back together.
Okay, I like the look, and the 3" spacers are fairly easy to get for me. Question, will the C6 wheels mount up the same way as the C5s? I almost like them better and have a line on a set.
i just put on a set of BFG radial t/a and i really like them so far. just had to wait a week for them to be ordered and come in. and i like the look of the white letter tires.

How well are they expected to handle in wet weather...in case it's driven like that?

well im not running the slolom course in the rain but they handle as well as can be expected. and for the most part i dont drive it in the rain, i have a truck to drive for the bad weather.

Me too, I only ask because the tires i used to have on the Vette were great on dry, but on wet, at a light, when I gassed it I would spin and spin and spin. It kinda sucked. I now have some great Goodyears but will need to upgrade in the next year or so.
