Default lower radiator hose
does anyone know if a 78 l-48 has a reinforced lower radiator hose or just a regular hose. I want to get reinforced hose because I suspect my lower hose is collapsing at highway speeds. engine has high flow water pump and aluminum radiator. also any ideas where I can get one?

I am not sure about the 78 Corvette's, however back in 69 they were using a spring winding inside the lower hose to keep it from collapsing.

I believe most if not all lower radiator hoses are reinforced.
