More Power ?

Hi Guys,

I would like to get at least 400 HP from a L48 on an 80 vette. I was thinking getting a COMPLETE 383 STROKER KIT, but I don’t think it will be enough, so what else I should get?

If you want 400hp, you need to look at a new set of heads. The L48 heads don't flow enough air to make 400hp.

i used to have an L48 on my '77...first i supercharged it with an ATI 600b compressor but after that i just sold the engine for 500 euros and bought a brand new 406...my opinion is that to get 400hp fm an L48 and have also a good reliability you need more money then to buy a new engine altogether.It's only my opinion though...
