Default 1980 Dewitts radiator

I ordered a Dewitts radiator to go in my 80. The bottoms rubber radiator supports will not fit from my old one to the new dewitts. It appears the old ones aren't wide enough. Any suggestions on what will work. Need to install this ASAP. Thanks

I have an 80 too! I believe the metal U brackets are large enough, it's the rubber insulator that need to be cut out a little bit

Sounds like you had a 3 row copper originally. Gotta do the same thing I had to do for my northern. Adjust the insulation a touch and it should fit. The original 3 row c/b is 2" and pretty much all aluminum radiators are 2 1/4" thick so it always requires a bit of tweaking to fit those.
