chose new paint for the vette
$860 a gal!
rock star sparklesent red (candy red with pearlesent tones).
and a gallon of silver metallic (base color)$250.00
got em at a distributor here

some nice effects with this new stuff.
not the cheesy stuff
just need to find a good durable clear now.

Valspar has very good paint as they own House of Color.
I used thier brand paint and about 1/2 of their other name brand.

clears
I have used dupont, ppg, sherwin williams. the best clear I have found is sold by dupont, nason brand. four coats sand with 1500 then 2000 grit and buff . it is cheaper and buffs easier than any clear I have used in the last 20 yrs.
