Default U-joint question

I am replacing my u-joints out of necessity and I am trying to find the Spicer brand of u-joints. Does anyone have a good source for these? Most of the local shops around my place all sell brands that I have never heard of. When it comes to bearing, u-joints, clutches, etc, I only go with the best that I can find and Spicer fits that niche.

I'm sure someone on the forum can give you an address or phone # but just in case they can't, you might want to do a search on the web. You could also try some 4x4 forums as those guys always buy the beefy U-joints. Can any of your local shops order Spicer? Just because they don't stock them, that doesn't always mean they won't order them. Even a Goodyear store will order BFG if it means they get the profits. Just a thought.

You can try http://www.texracing.com . Their phone number is (910) 428-9522. They sell genuine spicer components (mostly to NASCAR teams).

I got mine from a drive shaft shop shop here in Pensauken NJ. It is called Rebuilt Parts Co. That is all they do is drive shafts. He balanced mine and sold me the ujoints. He was a little expensive to install them but I was going to do it myself anyway. His phone number is 856 662 3252. I could dig up the numbers if you need them. They are Spicer joints
