Which side does the Big Headed bolt for the lower ball joint go on? Book doesn't say and I can't remember
TIA
Danny
It's to limit wheel turning. If you put the big headed bolt to the front it will NOT contact the steering arm and limit turning radius. Put it to the back.
Now that I have given you the answer and you have properly thanked me I could be wrong
Check if there is a built in stop on the lower A arm. If it does have a fixed stop then the big bolt head goes to the front. Look carefully at the old one. If you turned the wheel full lock will the steering arm, that arm the out tie rod attaches to , does it hit something on the lower A arm? If it does the bolt goes on the opposite side or front. If there is nothing on the back of the arm to stop the turning radius then it goes on the back.
I really think I mislead you in my first post.
LOL, yea I got it done Norval, had to do it twice, had 2 out of 4 parts not fitting together first time, second one went together a lot easier after the first one was right.
