This is for my 79'L48.64cc 2.02/1.60 heads(summit)L82 aluminum intake,268H comp cam. What should be done to the QJ to make it work?I'm keeping the rams horns, just porting them out.The cats are gone and It has a 2.5" 74 daul exhaust.I am keeping this motor looking as stock as possible.

I am very interested as I am about do the same type of mods
Are your pistons the stock dished pistons?

Ill let you be the Gineau pig

As far as the QJ goes, possibly just re-jet it for a little more fuel flow

Yeah,I'm leaving the bottom end alone for now.All the vacuum switches and the EGR valve will be in place but it will all be blocked of.I am hoping to get 280-300 when done and look stock.

That combo should give you 300+ no problem. As said you should re-jet the carb. Shoot Lars an email, he told me exactly which jets to use when I told him my mods last year.
