They're illegal to buy in many states, actually. However, you could always get someone from California to mail em to ya. They're legal in CA.

Don't make the mistake I did and purchase the black one's off ebay. Call Trim Tags in Buffalo Grove, IL. They sell the silver rosette's for about $15.00 each.

Finally something is legal in California?

I'm sure I saw them for sale in the Hemmings Motor News a while back.

You might try carefully removing the original GM rivets, size them back down with a wire crimper, then used finish nails inside the original rivets to re-expand them with a rivet gun. The nails don't brake at the head, so you seat the rivet, cut it flush and push what's left back inside the rivet (or?) weaken the nail head area and hope it brakes.

Wow, I didn't know I was about to brake any laws, maybe I should try to repair around them? You can see in the photo it's rough in the area! Thanks for the heads up! WB

Very good instructions, if I'm not able to repair around the rivets I'll give this a try! They look as if they might just pull out, with all the rust WB
