No I don't have one. I added some other methods to control mine when I installed the Dana 60 IRS setup.

ML67 has one on his car. Not sure if it's VB..but the same design. They primarily keep diff from moving around under launch. They spread some of the load to the forward crossmember instead of all being on the nose mount.

If you are having wheel hop issues, they usually help. But make sure everything else is tight first. I never used one on mine when I was running stock Vette stuff back there, and did fine without it. I was running in the 10's with it.

But everyone I know who added one liked it and they do seem to help breakage issues too somewhat.

Hi

It is installed to my 68 BB.
Here is a old pic , it was taken to show Bubba's method of wheel alignement by bending the strut rods.

The front bracket of the traction bar ist welded to the crossmember, the aft bracket bolts to the posi.

Does it do anything, I don't know, but I guess it does eliminate posi twisting completely on acceleration and braking.

I have the SSM bar (Southside machine) on my 73. I wouldn't call it a traction bar but a stabilization bar like the VB & P bar so the differential doesn't move. No welding was necessary to install and it's very heavy duty, if you can locate one try Ebay, that's where I found mine....you can see a pic of it on my homepage...
