Hood Release
Is there an ajustment for the hood release (81) ?? When i pull the hood release the passenger side release's but the drivers side stay's latched. Now i can't get the hood open. Tried putting a little pressure on the hood when pulling release but still will not release (drivers side). Driving me nuts.

The release on my 79 was doing the same thing. The adjustment is to move the cable farther away from the release mechanism. IE, the cable is attached to the fire wall near the release. Loosen the attachment clamp and pull the cable slightly more away from release. In my case, the clamp attaching the cable to the firewall was loose and not holding the cable securely and was letting it slip. All I had to do was move the cable slightly away from the release and securely re-tighten the attachment clamp.
