Hey guys, i ordered a set of the sparco seat bases for the 77-82 vettes. So someone want to explain to me on the website the pass and driverside are listed as the same part number. My floorboards are nothing alike. The pass side bolts right in (stock pattern non power), while the drivers side (stock power) is completely different. The drivers side is about an inch and a half lower than the pass, and the bolt pattern is off by 3". hell there isnt even a bolt pattern, its just holes through the floor. Both sides have the same amount of wear undercarpet, and i think its stock. Do they make a driver seat adapter for a power seat? I would appreciate any help you guys could give me! Thanks
Call them up. Another member discovered that Corbeau had made the seat brackets wrong for the C3, they had flip-flopped the brackets so Corebau corrected their design.
These manufacturers can be wrong, there are a lot of cars/models out there. Take some pics and get-em on the phone.
Good luck.
I purchased the Sparco Ultra seats a couple of years ago. I sent the mounts back and had to make my own.
The Sparco mounts made the seat so high that my helmet was touching the TTop. I made a flat bar stock mount and bolt uit to the seat and then to the floor in my original 1979 four corner threaded floor mounting positions.
the sparco seat is still taller than my stock seat and I considered cutting out and re doing the floor plan to give the drivers side a flat floor and that would lower the seat an additional 2 or more inches for even more added head room.
After painting the bars with POR-15 My vette is usually just a one seat car.
