Thanks man, by the way, Twin, you drive your car so hard your tires have gone bald. Better get some replacements before winter of you'll be sliding all over the place...
Yeah, took quite abit of cutting and welding, the stock spring pockets are completely gone and I had to fabricate the 2 upper shock supports/towers. The lower control arms were a lot of work also. The whole steering setup was the biggest PITA, these cars are just not made to be equipped w/ front steering end take off racks...somehow everything is in the way (crossmembers, frame, motor mount...)
rocket, here's my double a arm susp... you can see the upper arm here w/ the inner mounts just clamped in place for mockup and fitting

Man thats cool.I take you are going road racing.
I had an idea to weld in a upper shock bracket, and come off the trailing arm for the bottom mount.but I'm not it's worth that much work for a street car.
TT - Have you seen the movie Driven? When this car is set up right, will you be able to drive around the track and pick up quarters with the tires? They get that soft don't they? Or was that all Hollywood magic?
This is a couple of shots of my rear coilovers. While they are in the stock location both upper and lower mounts are hand made and nothing of the original mounts is used.
I run 450 pound springs in this location and they are soft
so what all does this conversion involve? just pullin mono spring out and putting the coilovers in, or do you have to make some brackets for them?......I just bought the car a months ago so I 'm not familiar with how everything is set-up.......
I've been toying with the idea too!.....not too worried about ride quality, as long as it doesn't ride like a gokart with no suspension!.....
